Besides being a tasty spice often used to enhance holiday treats, ginger can soothe upset stomachs and diminish nausea, and studies show it may help pain and inflammation, too.
Since ancient times ginger is used to warm the body in case of cold or flu. The ginger is still used as an effective tool against thrombosis, rheumatism, sciatica, arthritis and similar conditions and its efficiency is very good.
When it comes to arthritis and rheumatism, ginger can be used for making ginger water coating, and there are 2 methods:
1# Make ginger water:
Mix ½ tablespoon of ground ginger with 150 ml of warm water and let it cool. Consume this for 1 month, two times a day.
2# Make ginger water coating:
Grind 100-140 grams fresh ginger or 30-40 grams of dry ginger and put it in a canvas bag. Place the bag in a bowl with warm water, and let it simmer for 5 minutes. Make sure that the water is warm when using ginger water coating. Soak a cotton cloth in the water, drain the excess water and put it on the affected area. In order to keep the coating warm, wrap the coating with a dry cloth. You should replace the coating from ginger water on every 5 minutes, at least 3 times. You can use the same water to improve your circulation by massaging the painful areas.
Ginger water coating is very beneficial for rheumatism, arthritis, toothache, asthma, joint pain, back pain, menstrual pain, neck stiffness, and kidney stones pain.
