Every day we are surrounded by all sorts of carcinogenic ingredients, in the food we eat, the water we drink and the air we breathe. The reports of their multitude can be overwhelming, and that`s why we`ll try to simplify the things here.
One of the best things to do if you want to prevent cancer or help your organism fight it is- avoid artificial sugar!
Sugar feeds cancer cells
In the 1920`s, Dr. Otto Warburg, who won the Nobel Prize for his work, had a theory that sugar feeds cancer cells- when the body breaks down sugar, all sorts of chemicals are created which increase mitochondrial dysfunction and stimulate cancer growth.
His theory was further explained by today`s research. Now we have a certain proof that too much sugar can make the body resistant to insulin, which makes it turn to even more IGF (insulin-like growth factor) to process the sugar. This also stimulates cancer growth and development.
According to Dr. Carrie Daniel-MacDougall: “Our body constantly creates new cells, while the bad ones die, so cancer cells are kept in check. IGF blocks the signals the body gives to the cells to grow and die when they become bad, so they continue to grow and grow.”
And this is when they become cancerous. Their abnormal growth takes over organs and spread, and all of this is fueled by sugar.
People with diabetes or other health issues related to IGF have higher cancer fatality rates. Also, sugar is one of the main reasons for the cancer cells to grow and spread.
Cut down sugar and starve the cancer cells
All you need to do is avoid or completely remove artificial sugars from your diet. They offer very little or no benefits and they damage our cells.
On the other hand, when it comes to natural sugars, they are very important for our organism because of the vitamins and nutrients they provide.
Avoiding sugar can be easy in theory, but in practice it`s something very difficult to do, because sugar can be very addictive, and millions of Americans are proof of this. But no matter how difficult, it`s still not impossible. The first thing you need to do is to retrain your brain and the taste buds to loathe the taste of sugar.
In the beginning, stop consuming soda because one can has about 39 grams of sugar, which is more than the recommended daily dose for an adult man.
Also, consume lots of proteins, in order to reduce the sugar cravings, because proteins can maintain the balance between the insulin and blood sugar levels.
The video below will show you a story of a man who reversed his cancer, simply by quitting sugar.
